Born from a love of herbs and their gentle, nourishing gifts, Ula is an artisan apothecary creating skin and body care essentials for daily self-care rituals. Rooted in traditional folk herbalism, Ula is an exploration of plant alchemy and the quiet beauty of nature’s restorative power.

All our products are handcrafted in small batches in our studio on Orcas Island. Our formulas are soothing harmonizers, blended to nurture a sense of wellbeing, support the body’s natural rhythms, and invite a deeper connection to ourselves and the healing wisdom of plants.

Founder Elie Barausky is a mother, herbalist, and holistic facialist. She lives with her partner and young child in the countryside where they tend a garden, raise sheep, and enjoy life on a small island.
